A holiday party invitation has to work for a wide mix of people. At work, that means inclusive wording, clear logistics (Is it during work hours? Are partners invited?) and replies that help whoever is ordering the catering. At home, it means a warm design and every detail guests need to fit you into a crowded month.
Email the invitation to up to 500 guests from GatherRibbon, see who has opened it, and send up to three reminders to people who haven’t replied. Replies include party sizes, meal choices and answers to your own questions, and you can export the full list to CSV for the venue. Need words? Start with our office holiday party wording.
For a large company party, send invitations six to eight weeks ahead; four weeks is enough for a team event. Set the RSVP date a few days before your caterer or venue needs final numbers.

Six to eight weeks ahead for a company-wide party, especially in early December. For big events, a save the date in October helps.
Say “holiday party” or “end-of-year celebration,” skip religious imagery for workplace events, mention food and non-alcoholic options, and say clearly whether attendance is optional.
